BetMGM Offers $1,500 in Bonus Bets for Steelers-Browns Matchup

BetMGM is promoting a sizable welcome offer for new users looking to wager on Thursday night's AFC North clash. Using bonus code CBSSPORTS, eligible players can receive up to $1,500 in bonus bets, with the promotion structured to cover first-bet losses up to that amount.

How the Promo Works. The offer follows a familiar sportsbook model: place your initial wager, and if it loses, BetMGM credits bonus bets equal to your stake, capped at $1,500. This gives new bettors a cushion on their opening play, whether they're backing the Steelers, the Browns, or taking a game prop. The Steelers-Browns matchup provides a prime opportunity to activate the bonus.

Limited to Eligible Players. As with all promotional offers, the bonus is restricted to new customers who haven't previously held a BetMGM account. State-specific availability and standard sportsbook terms apply. Prospective bettors should verify eligibility in their jurisdiction before attempting to claim the offer.

Bonus Bet Mechanics. It's worth understanding that bonus bets, while valuable, function differently than cash deposits. They can typically be used on any available wager and often come with expiration dates, so new users should review the full terms before locking in their first bet.

Thursday night's divisional matchup offers plenty of wagering angles—game outcome, player props, scoring totals—making it a natural vehicle for sportsbooks to attract fresh customers. For those interested in the promotion, checking BetMGM's terms and confirming your state's status is the first step.
