Information only — no guarantees
OddsShift provides sports betting information, picks, and ratings for entertainment and informational purposes only. We are not a sportsbook and do not accept bets. Our picks are opinions generated by statistical models and are frequently wrong. No pick, rating, parlay, or record shown anywhere on the Service is a guarantee of any outcome, and past results do not guarantee future performance. Any bet you place is your own decision and your own risk.
Bet within your means
Only bet money you can afford to lose. Betting should be a form of entertainment, not a way to make money, solve financial problems, or chase losses. Set a budget and a time limit before you play, and never bet more to try to recover what you have lost.
Age and eligibility
You must be of legal gambling age in your jurisdiction to use the Service or to place any bet — at least 19 years old in Ontario; the minimum age varies by province. The Service is not intended for anyone under the legal age.
Signs of a gambling problem
Gambling may be becoming a problem if you:
- spend more time or money on betting than you intended;
- bet to escape stress, or chase losses to win money back;
- borrow money, sell things, or neglect responsibilities to gamble;
- feel anxious, guilty, or irritable about your betting, or hide it from others.

Tools to stay in control
- Most regulated sportsbooks offer deposit limits, time limits, and self-exclusion — use them.
- Take regular breaks and never bet while under the influence or when upset.
- Keep gambling separate from money you need for essentials.
